Business Development Analyst (Full-Time, On-Site)

Job Description

Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) is required
PineTree Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the business development team to support strategic initiatives, partnership development, and competitive intelligence efforts across our pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills and be fluent in both spoken and written Korean.



Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the business development team in evaluating licensing, co-development, and investment opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis across oncology and immunology drug development.
  • Analyze financial, scientific, and strategic information from potential partners and prepare summary reports and presentations.
  • Assist in drafting and managing non-confidential decks, data rooms, term sheets, and diligence materials.
  • Track and summarize biotech/pharma transactions, funding activity, and news relevant to our pipeline.
  • Communicate with Korean-speaking partners and stakeholders; assist with meeting coordination, translation of documents, and written correspondence.
  • Help manage external collaborations and alliance tracking in coordination with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in partnering meetings (e.g., BIO, JPM, other industry conferences), support follow-up tracking and documentation.
  • Contribute to internal strategic planning discussions, including opportunity assessment and prioritization.



Qualifications
  • Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) is required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development, consulting, investment, or biotech/pharma industry roles.
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process and interest in oncology and immunology.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfort working with scientific and financial data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in BD, venture capital, pharma consulting, or corporate strategy roles.


Location:
Full-time, on-site position at PineTree Therapeutics, Cambridge, MA.
